Michelle Pfeiffer would "probably" play Catwoman again
The actress who played Catwoman in 1992's 'Batman Returns' admits she might return to the role
Michelle Pfeiffer has admitted that she would consider playing Catwoman again.
The actress played the feline super-villain in 1992's Batman Returns, earning a MTV Movie Awards nomination for Most Desirable Female.
Since then, Halle Berry has taken the part in a 2004 Catwoman film and Anne Hathaway will revive the iconic character in next month's Batman sequel The Dark Knight Rises.
However, Pfeiffer has refused to rule out the possibility of returning to the role. When asked by E! News, she said: "Probably, if they asked me. [But] it's unlikely that they're going to ask me."
Pfeiffer also recalled that the character's famous black catsuit was so tight it felt "vacuum-packed", saying: "It was probably really unhealthy and it would literally just start to squeeze my skin. I was only allowed to wear it for so many hours."
Pfeiffer also praised Hathaway's Catwoman look in promotional photos for The Dark Knight Rises, saying: "She looks fantastic."
The Dark Knight Rises, featuring Hathaway's Catwoman opposite Christian Bale's Batman, opens in cinemas on July 20.
