Morgan Freeman falls asleep during live TV interview - watch

Morgan Freeman apparently fell asleep during a live interview on US TV on Wednesday (May 22). Scroll down and click 'play' to watch a clip of his cheeky nap.

Freeman was on air with fellow acting veteran Michael Caine when he seemed to allow himself a mid-interview snooze. The pair were appearing via satellite on a local news station in Seattle to promote their new film Now You See Me.

Caine is seen chatting happily, apparently unaware that his co-star has his eyes closed and then visibly lets his head drop. Fortunately, Freeman manages to wake up in time to answer a question posed directly to him by the news anchor.

Now You See Me follows a group of illusionists who pull off bank jobs during their performances but find themselves tracked by the FBI. The bumper ensemble cast also includes Mark Ruffalo, Jesse Eisenberg, Isla Fisher and Woody Harrelson.

The film opens in the US on May 31, but UK cinema-goers will have to wait until July 3 to see it.
