Natalie Portman has emerged as the most searched star on 2011 on iMBb.
The actress won the Oscar for Black Swan this year, as well as scoring success in Marvel blockbuster Thor and fantasy comedy Your Highness.
That has all contributed to her scoring the most views on the world’s biggest cinema database, with her Black Swan co-star Mila Kunis just behind in second place, according to The Guardian
Johnny Depp, who this year appeared in The Rum Diary and Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides came third, Crazy, Sexy, Love star Emma Stone came fourth and Portman's Thor co-star Chris Hemsworth was fifth.
iMBd attracts over 100 million unique users each month and carries information on more than four million performers. However, it has come in for criticism from actors’ guilds for revealing the ages of their members, over claims this could affect casting chances.
The ten most searched actors were:
1. Natalie Portman
2. Mila Kunis
3. Johnny Depp
4. Emma Stone
5. Chris Hemsworth
6. Olivia Wilde
7. Jennifer Lawrence
8. George Clooney
9. Ryan Gosling
10. Christian Bale
