A new Iron Man 3 TV trailer has been released – scroll down and click 'play' to watch.
The 30-second teaser focuses on Don Cheadle's new role as the Iron Patriot. The actor previously played War Machine in Iron Man 2. The trailer also comes with the voiceover tag-line "One hero is not enough", and ends with a shot of a legion of iron superheroes preparing to do battle.
Iron Man 3 will be Downey Jr's fourth outing as Stark, a billionaire inventor who creates a powered suit of armour and turns himself into a superhero. The actor previously played Stark in 2008's Iron Man, 2010's Iron Man 2 and last year's The Avengers.
An official plot synopsis was released last October hyping up the rivalry between Stark and The Mandarin, played by Ben Kingsley. It teases: "Iron Man 3 pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy's hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle."
Iron Man 3, which also stars Gwyneth Paltrow and Guy Pearce, opens in UK cinemas on April 26 and arrives in the US on May 3. Meanwhile, a different version of the film featuring extra footage will be released in China, where shooting partly took place.
