Official title of 'Transformers 4' confirmed on new poster
Action sequel starring Mark Wahlberg is set for release next July (2014)
The full title of the new Transformers movie has been confirmed on a new poster.
The fourth instalment in director Michael Bay's sci-fi action franchise has been named Transformers: Age Of Extinction. See above for the poster, which was first unveiled by Yahoo! Movies.
Meanwhile, producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura has recently confirmed that the film will feature the debut big screen appearance by the Dinobots, a popular group of characters from the Transformers comic books, TV series and toy line.
Transformers: Age Of Extinction will also introduce an entirely new cast including Mark Wahlberg, Kelsey Grammer, Stanley Tucci, TJ Miller, Sophia Myles and up-and-coming Irish actor Jack Reynor.
The film will open in US cinemas on June 27 next year (2014), as the poster says, before getting a UK release a couple of weeks later on July 10. The three previous Transformers movies starring Shia LaBeouf, who declined to return this time out, grossed over $2.67 billion (£1.7 billion) collectively at the box office worldwide.
