'Paranormal Activity' team set to produce TV show
Director Oren Peli to write 'The River'
Paranormal Activity director Oren Peli and sequel writer Michael R. Perry are planning to create a new television show, again using the found-footage format they used for the film. The show, titled The River, is to be set along the Amazon, and concerns the hunt for a missing person.
DreamWorks TV is currently negotiating a deal with ABC, and all concerned hope the show will debut sometime next year.
Meanwhile, Paranormal Activity 2 opens in cinemas on October 22.
