Paris Hilton ends up out of pocket over flop comedy

Socialite fined for not promoting 'Pledge This!'

Paris Hilton may have to pay around £107,000 to investors behind her 2006 movie Pledge This! after she refused to promote the film in certain countries. A US District Judge has ruled that the 29-year-old didn't fulfill her contractual duties when she turned down magazine interviews in Russia and the UK.

The judge has asked for more information about Hilton's contract before the amount of compensation is set. The movie's investors originally had a figure set at £1,000,000.

Hilton played the snobby Victoria English in the widely panned 2006 comedy.
