Robert Pattinson wants to re-shoot 'Twilight' first kiss
Actor says he would love to go back and redo the scene
Robert Pattinson has said that if he was able to re-shoot any scene from the Twilight series, it would be the first kiss.
When asked by MTV if there was a scene from any of the films in the franchise that he would love to go back and change, Pattinson, without hesitation, said it would be "the first kiss scene", despite already reshooting it twice.
I messed it up again. It's hard though. That was a hard scene. That was the audition scene as well. But, it's like in order...I don't know. It's just a difficult one.
Co-star Kristen Stewart called the subtleties of the scene "very complex", before Pattinson explained why he found the filming of that particular scene to be so difficult. "I was always kind of pre-empting — the pull back — so I'm not sort of leaping away correctly," he said.
Breaking Dawn - Part 2 gets its UK premiere on November 14 before opening in cinemas on November 16. Last month, it was reported that the makers of Twilight are already hatching plans for a film or TV spin-off. This would not feature Pattinson and Stewart, but "merely [be] set in the same world as the one in the movies".
Meanwhile, Twilight author Stephenie Meyer has refused to rule out writing further books in the series in the future.
