'Saw''s James Wan to direct vampire graphic novel adaptation
Work to start on 'Nightfall' soon
Saw's James Wan is set to direct an adaptation of Scott O Brown and Ferran Xalabarder's novel, Nightfall.
The film joins the long list of recent flicks with a vampire twist, headed by the likes of the Twilight Saga.
Director Wan told Deadline.com: "The minute I heard the concept, I was in. Reading the graphic novel cemented that. Like Saw, it’s a simple concept that, if executed properly, will be so cool."
The graphic novel, which was published in 2007, sees a man sent to a prison that is run by vampires.
Wan has been responsible for the likes of Death Sentence and Dead Silence.
