Scarlett Johansson and Sam Rockwell will star in a "lost" Stanley Kubrick project. The script for the film, Lunatics at Large, was discovered several years ago after the late director of such classics as Dr. Strangelove and The Shining had commissioned writer Jim Thompson to write a treatment back in the '60s.
The most recent draft was completed by screenwriter Stephen R Clarke in 1996 - three years before the director's death.
The story is said to centre on Johnnie Shepherd, to be played by Rockwell, a former carnival worker with anger issues, who falls for a beautiful girl he seduces, possibly to be played by Johansson.
Johansson and Rockwell will star together in this sping's comic book blockbuster Iron Man 2, out on April 30 in the UK.
