'Skyfall's Daniel Craig to endorse Heineken as James Bond

007 actor will be appearing in new ad campaign

'Skyfall's Daniel Craig to endorse Heineken as James Bond

Daniel Craig is set to star in a new Heineken advert for new James Bond film Skyfall.

The actor will play 007 in the new marketing campaign when it launches in 170 countries this September. Despite the beer having been partnered with the James Bond series for 15 years, this will be the first time the lead actor has taken part in an all-out endorsement.

Producers Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoii said of the move: "The level of collaboration with Henieken is unprecedented. We are excited by the global reach and the creativity that the Heineken team is able to deliver."

The beer brand's chief commercial officer Alexis Nasard added: "When two great brands like Heineken and James Bond join together, excitement is guaranteed. We are proud of our long standing partnership."

Skyfall is directed by Sam Mendes, and co-stars stars Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, Bérénice Marlohe, Naomie Harris, Helen McCrory and Javier Bardem. It will open in cinemas on October 26.
