The film stars Steve Carell and Steve Buscemi as a pair of superstar Las Vegas musicians whose popularity is threatened by the arrival of a cooler illusionist, played by Jim Carrey. All feature heavily in the trailer, which also features glimpses of co-stars Olivia Wilde and Alan Arkin.

The film has a script by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, two of the screenwriters behind Horrible Bosses. It was directed by Don Scardino, best known for helming numerous episodes of 30 Rock.

In the US, The Incredible Burt Wonderstone is scheduled to open in cinemas on March 15, 2013. The film's UK release date has yet to be confirmed.

Meanwhile, Jim Carrey has recently completed work on superhero sequel Kick-Ass 2. Back in October (2012), Universal Studios released a plot teaser for the film, revealing that Carrey will play a "badass" called Colonel Stars And Stripes who joins forces with Aaron Johnson's title character.
