Steven Spielberg to make Comic-Con debut
Legendary film-maker to attend 'Tintin' panel
Steven Spielberg is set to attend this year's Comic Con in San Diego with an exclusive Tintin panel. The director of Jaws, ET and the Indiana Jones films will make his maiden voyage to the convention, bringing with him exclusive content from The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn.
The director will take to the famous Hall H on July 22. It is believed he will be joined by the film's stars but it is unknown whether fellow producer Peter Jackson will appear. The new trailer for the motion capture movie can be viewed below.
It was reported last month that many of the major film studios would snub this year's convention.
In contrast, the presence of the television industry is greater than ever, with Glee, True Blood and the new Beavis and Butthead among many offerings from the small screen at the event.
Tintin will star Jamie Bell - pictured right - Daniel Craig and Andy Serkis, as well as featuring appearances from Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. The script was written by Joe Cornish, Edgar Wright and Steven Moffat.
The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn is due for UK release on October 26.
