'Superman' actress Margot Kidder praises successor Amy Adams
Original Lois Lane star says Adams is 'so much better than me'
Amy Adams
Former Lois Lane actress Margot Kidder has heaped praise on her successor Amy Adams, calling her a "brilliant, wonderful actress." Kidder played the character in all four original Superman films, opposite Christopher Reeve. Now she has weighed in on Zack Snyder's decision to cast Adams as the character in his forthcoming reboot, Man Of Steel.
She told MTV News: "She's a brilliant, wonderful actress! She's incredible. She’s an extraordinarily accomplished young lady - and gorgeous and full of energy and spirit. She's so different from part to part. It’s going to be really interesting to see what she does with Lois."
Asked for the secrets of playing Lois Lane, Kidder said: "Gosh, I think Amy Adams is so much better an actress than I am I wouldn’t even for a second presume to give her any advice on the subject at all."
