Susan Boyle's life story is to be made into a Hollywood film, according to reports.
The Scottish singer, who rose to fame after coming second on Britain's Got Talent 2009, will have her life re-told on the big screen after signing a film deal in the US this week, according the The Sun.
With filming due to begin next year, Susan Boyle has already said that she wants George Clooney to star as her manager in the film. "It's wishful thinking," she said. "But it's Hollywood… anything can happen."
Boyle's life story has already been re-told onstage. Earlier this year, a stage musical about her rise to fame went on a 26-date tour of the UK, US and Australia.
Based on her autobiography, The Woman I Was Born To Be, the stage musical starred Elaine C Smith – best known for her role as Mary Doll in Scottish sitcom Rab C Nesbitt – as Susan Boyle.
Boyle appeared at a number of dates on the tour, appearing with Smith during the musical's encore. However, it is currently unclear how much input the Scottish singer will have in the upcoming movie.
