'The Big Lebowski' house up for sale
Jeff Bridges character The Dude's abode is on the market
The bungalow lived in by The Dude from The Big Lebowski has been put on the market in Los Angeles. The house where Jeff Bridges' beloved character lived is currently for sale for $2.3m (£1.4m). While this seems steep, and way out of The Dude's price range, the price is for six one-bedroom cottages, not just the one apartment.
The property boasts over 10,000 square feet, spacious side-yards and is a short distance away from the beach, near the In and Out Burger restaurant.
If you've got a spare few million and need a place to listen to your Creedence Clearwater Revival tapes, you can check out the full specifications by visiting Bulldog Realtors.
Earlier this year, The Dude's iconic cardigan went to auction, gathering bids of over $10,000 (£6,100). Replicas are said to be being sold at Pendleton Woolen Mills soon.
Love for the Coen Brothers comedy has manifested itself in a host of Big Lebowski related activity, including the annual Lebowski-fest, where fans dress up as their favourite characters, drink white russians and bowl to their heart's content.
Whether any fans who walk around in a dressing gown all day, paying for milk by cheque could afford the move to The Dude's house looks unlikely.
