The Rock and Taylor Lautner rumoured for 'David Vs Goliath'

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Taylor 'Jacob' Lautner are said to be in talks for the retelling of the biblical story David and Goliath. Top of Relativity Media's list to play the bullying giant is former WWF star and current action hero, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.

And in the role of David, Twitch reports that Twilight star Taylor Lautner is set to play the stone-throwing future King of Israel.

Earlier this year, it was announced that Scott Derickson, director of the remake of The Day The Earth Stood Still and The Exorcism Of Emily Rose would helm the biblical tale.

The Rock can next be seen in GI Joe 2: Retaliation. Taylor Lautner has the double bill of Abduction and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part One.
