Lead actor Jessie Eisenberg was named Best Actor for his role of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.

The Social Network is considered one of the front-runners for the Oscar nominations, which are announced on January 25.

The National Society of Film Critics makes-up its membership from critics at newspapers in Los Angeles, Boston, New York and Chicago. Other winners included The King's Speech, Black Swan and Let Me Go.
