The trailer for the forthcoming new Coen Brothers film, Inside Llewyn Davis, has been unveiled.

Carey Mulligan plays the female lead opposite Oscar Isaac in the movie, which does not yet have an official release date. However, the film is expected to hit cinemas at some point in 2013.

Also appearing in the film are Justin Timberlake, John Goodman, F. Murray Abraham, Adam Driver and Garrett Hedlund.

The trailer is soundtracked by Bob Dylan's 'Farewell'.

Last year it was reported that plans are underway to turn the classic Coen Brothers movie Fargo into a TV series.

Joel and Ethan Coen wrote, directed and produced the 1996 crime film, which starred Frances McDormand as a pregnant sheriff in a sleepy North Dakota town and William H Macy as a car salesman who hatches an ill-fated plan to have his wife kidnapped.

US cable network FX - home of Dexter and American Horror Story - has ordered a script for an hour-long TV pilot based on the film. The Coen Brothers will serve as executive producers, with the script being penned by Noah Hawley, a former writer-producer on Bones.
