'Transformers' actor Jack Reynor for 'Star Wars: Episode VII' role?
Irish actor linked with sci-fi film
Transformers actor Jack Reynor is the latest person to be linked with a role in the forthcoming Star Wars: Episode VII.
Fan website Ain't It Cool News report that they have been contacted by two sources both claiming that Reynor, who was born in Colorado but moved to Ireland as a two-year-old, has held talks with the team behind the sci-fi blockbuster. A host of actors have already been linked with the film: Judi Dench and Gary Oldman have both recently been rumoured to be taking on a role in the flick, while Atonement's Saoirse Ronan and The Wire actor Michael B Jordan have both revealed they have auditioned for roles.
Benedict Cumberbatch, who worked with Abrams on last year's Star Trek Into Darkness, has also been linked to the project too and Zac Efron revealed earlier this week that he had held preliminary talks with the film's producers.
Reynor will join Mark Wahlberg, Kelsey Grammer, Stanley Tucci, TJ Miller and Sophia Myles for Michael Bay's Transformers: Age Of Extinction, which will open in cinemas on July 27 of this year (2014). Click below to watch a teaser clip.
