Watch the first trailer for the new Robert Rodriguez film Machete online now. Machete is the hotly anticipated full film of a fake trailer that Rodriguez directed for the 2007 film Grindhouse.

It centres on the character of Machete Cortez, who has previously appeared as the protagonists' uncle in Rodriguez's 2001 film Spy Kids.

The film stars former prisoner-turned-actor Danny Trejo in his first lead role, and co-stars Michelle Rodriguez, Cheech Marin, Lindsay Lohan, Don Johnson, Jessica Alba, Steven Seagal and Robert De Niro.
