The trailer for Snow White And The Huntsman has emerged, and you can watch it here on NME.COM.

Twilight star Kristen Stewart plays the title role in the Rupert Sanders directed twist on the classic fairytale. You can watch the teaser by clicking above. It is being billed as one of next summer's biggest blockbusters.

The trailer comes from the perspective of the Evil Queen, played by Oscar winner Charlize Theron, who purrs the immortal lines:

Mirror mirror, on the wall, who of the fairest of them all?

Informed that there is another more fairer, she is given instructions to "consume her heart and you will live forever". The fairier girl in question is of course Snow White, portrayed by Stewart. The queen orders the mirror to "find me someone who does not fear the dark forest to hunt her down."

It is here that the new film deviates from the story, since the Huntsman, played by Thor star Chris Hemsworth, falls in love with Snow White, and the pair embark on a mission across the forest to defeat the Queen.

The trailer ends with the chilling words: "Lips red as blood, hair black as night bring me your heart, my dear dear Snow White."

Snow White And The Huntsman is released in the UK on June 1 next year.
