Nottingham
Nottingham might not have produced many legendary bands, but it does have one iconic venue. Rock City has been at the heart of virtually every evolution of rock and rave as it has hit the UK for approaching 30 years now. From the hair metal and new romanticism to grunge and Libertines lunacy, the ex-bakery has been an essential stop-off for any band whose presence has been felt over the past three decades as soon as British soil is in sight.
