If you’re a music junkie seeking a place with a wide array of alternative scenes and a good sense of humour, you’ve come to the right city. Southampton has paved many paths of gold and it all began in a small, murky venue called The Joiners Arms. Situated in the heart of the red light district, a number of bands have arrived over the years who ring a bell. Oasis, Primal Scream, Ash, Skunk Anansie and Radiohead have all played there, and the venue still welcomes all the best new talent today.
