A - The High Lines

'Edinburgh Based Indie Rock Band. With their take it or leave it attitude and stomping 3 and half minute tunes, they built up a following in the waste land that is Edinburgh's band scene. Think of the Ramones playing Beatles songs and your there.'

About The Band

Formed by front man Ross Fraser and Bassist Derek Bowden in 2005, and soon joined by Lead Guitarist Nick Plain, Rythem Guitarist Shafter and Drummer Johnny Clueworth, The High Lines set about changing the way Edinburgh's music scene is viewed. With the words, "Nae Scene" and "Your gonna try and play where?" rining in their ears, the 5 piece decided to do things their own way. Now having built up a loyal following through three years of hard work(?) the Lines have evolved into a tightly nit, good old fashioned rock band. With the same morals and values as their idols, the band plan to continue this assault until they reach the very top. Hits such as 'Magic Machine', 'It's My City' and 'The New King' have become favourates amongst the fans and surely it won't be long before these songs are heard by a wider audience. Watch out for this lot, they don't fuck about.
