About The Band

The Dirty Dreamers formed in early 2005 by guitarist Baz. By placing adverts for other band members locally he met with drummer Chris and vocalist Ash. After spending a few weeks jamming together they developed a sound that they all loved. The band began playing live and over the next few months played their way around the local music scene in Hull, developing a greater following with each gig. Carl joined the band as a bassist in 2006 and began gigging as they embark on a series of gigs to promote the band around the country.

After establishing a tight local fan base the band began playing gigs all over the country, this included several dates in London in 2005 at the following venues, Dublin Castle, Nambucca, Lark In The Park and also at Alan Mcgee's Death Disco at the Notting Hill Arts Centre. After playing the Death Disco Alan Mcgee went on to play the track 'Overload' on his national radio show on BBC Radio One.

Both locally and outside of Hull the Dirty Dreamers have played alongside some great bands including; 10,000 Things, The Cribs, The Black Velvets and also supported fellow Hull band The Paddingtons for a single launch at Waterrats in London, and more recently they were also invited to support The Paddingtons at the Underground in Stoke at the end of their tour.
