About The Band

The Element rock/Indie/alternative sound is of four 15 year old lads having the time of thier lives. With help from Producers n talent scouts it has helped them to be big in places where they have really never heard of! The guys were brought up in the small towns of Howden and Gilberdyke, where music was the only option. They have created their own unique sound and are trying to pull the money together to record their E.P called "Stop Everything Your not". With the Brilliant song called "Outta Love" all ready recorded, songs like "shorter drop", "Unidentified Beauty", "Rosie Lets Dance" and Empty Wars should follow.

4 months later it appeared The Element had another slot at The Shire Hall (31st of March 2006) playing with four piece Sheffield Band "Theech". They played their little hearts out and you could really tell the improvement which had been made- The Element now adding one of thier second own songs called "Unidentified Beauty"- an upbeat tune, to tempt any girl to fall to her knees, then quoted by 216 on-lookers that The Element took their breath away with their High flighing jumps and rocking tunes. Quoted again in the LIVE magazine and website

The Band turned itself on it's head and got itself working on new ideas and own songs- This is when The Element decided to change the formation of the Band, Making Dom Lead Singer an giving Kersh title of Lead/Rythem guitar. This made The Element stronger and brought out songs like "Shorter Drop", "Blind Man", "Outta Love", "Rosie Lets Dance" and "Empty Wars".

The Element then met up with young Teacher and rebel =) called Jamie, (who is an apsolute Legend) And he recorded them as a project and the record "Outta Love" is now on the profile page for you to download.

On the 13th of September The Element made there first T.V debut on the BBC2 programme "Let Me Entertain you". The Boys played Green Day's cover song of Wake Me up when september ends.

SLACK ALICE.

First up were The Element, their progress between gigs at the Shire Hall continues apace, assured, confident, talented and chuffed to bits.

Afterglow Band Showcase

It started a normal night for the boys in black and white and red and all the other colors they were wearing, but something abit weird came over them, something or someone making them turn into crazed, mentalised, doped up Kids ( well maybe Just One ). We still don't know what came over "The Element" on the 14th of October- Was it just the sight of Afterglow, or maybe was it the sight of will hardcastle pulling a moony at the crowd. WE WILL NEVER KNOW! But it started off with The Element bursting into their classic song of Unidentified Beauty and then straight into the new myspace hit "Outta Love". Then pulling Teenage Kicks off in Teenage Fashion. The Three high tempo tunes bursting a spark in all four of the Kids, the fuel provided by Kershaw and mchugh and the flamethrower Williamson showing that guitar who was F%&"ing Boss and Bonser Just doing what he always does best- Bash the Living S&*t out of them drums! After Kersh jumped on his Marshall and Beef got on his knees- not for the first time lol- just gave the fans something to talk about the next day. "Shorter Drop" hit home and Scummy always doing it's job and new song "Michael Cliff" getting a good reception =). It was a great night and thank you to Afterglow for making it happen- cheers xx

In the latest release of our newest album, the Dida Crew have created a video showing our highlights in the recording studio we went to.
