But Peter Bjorn and John lose theirs

"What the fuck is up, Lollapalooza?" !!! frontman Nic Offer asked the crowd before kicking off their Sunday afternoon set.

Despite the sweltering heat, the eight-piece ensemble gave one of the liveliest performances at the festival, with Offer bounding out into the crowd and dancing with audience members while his band members kept the groovy numbers going.

The band ran through several tracks from their recent album 'Myth Takes' including 'Must Be The Moon' and 'Heart Of Hearts'.

"It doesn't get any better than this!" gushed Offer, and the crowd cheered back in response.

Meanwhile on the next stage over, Peter, Bjorn and John lost their sound mid-way through one of their opening songs.

The silence lasted for several minutes and the audience seemed bewildered as it was unclear whether the band would be able to continue their set.

The technical problems were eventually solved, and the Swedish trio picked up where they left off, inviting Nikki Monniger of Silversun Pickups to sing a duet on 'Young Folks' and Apostle of Hustle's Dean Stone to play drums.
