Public send latest single into the charts

Britney Spears' recent troubles has sparked an upsurge in her UK record sales.

The star's last single, 2007's 'Piece Of Me', has re-entered the chart at Number 19.

Spears reportedly had a bust-up with US TV psychologist Dr. Phil McGraw after he allegedly tried to visit her at the Ceders-Sinai Medical Centre.

Spears had been staying at the Centre after having a highly-public melt-down. McGraw had claimed that Spears was in need of "psychological and medical attention".
