A statement from 22-20s said: “22-20s hugely regret that we will not be able to play at this year’s V Festival due to illness.”

They added: “We are confident that Nine Black Alps will play a blinding set and wish them luck and apologise to the fans for having to pull out.”

A statement from Nine Black Alps said: “We were sorry to hear the 22-20s have had to pull out, but we're honoured and delighted to have been added to the V Festival bill at the last minute. We're looking forward to having a great weekend indeed."
