Lauryn Hill to play UK shows

Fugees singer to play three dates

Lauryn Hill has announced details of a short UK tour.

The Fugees singer is set to play three gigs, kicking off on July 8 at London’s Hammersmith Carling Apollo.

Hill has not released a solo album since 2002’s MTV Unplugged‘, but is believed to be working on a new CD, reportedly titled ’Khulami Phase’.

She recently appeared on the song ’Music’ from Joss Stone’s album ’Introducing Joss Stone’.

Fugees released a one-off single ’Take It Easy’ in 2005, and it is thought a new album is in the works.

The dates are:

London Hammersmith Carling Apollo (July 8)
Birmingham Carling Academy (9)
Manchester Carling Apollo (10)

Tickets are set to go on sale on Friday (May 4) at 9am.
