Lauryn Hill to play California shows

Fugees singer announces two rare dates

Lauryn Hill has announced that she will play two rare shows in California this summer.

The Fugees singer is set to perform at Oakland's Paramount Theatre and Pala's Palomar Starlight Theatre in late June.

She will also play three UK gigs in July, as previously announced. No other shows have been scheduled to date.

Bright Eyes' Conor Oberst recently disclosed in Performing Songwriter magazine that he is working on a collaboration with Hill, but the Fugees singer has not yet confirmed it publicly.

Hill's last solo album was 2002's 'MTV Unplugged'. She is believed to be working on a new record, reportedly titled 'Khulami Phase'.

The California dates are:

Oakland, CA Paramount Theatre (June 27)
Pala, CA Palomar Starlight Theatre (29)
