SLY STALLONE PLANS BIGGIE/TUPAC MOVIE

The mystery surrounding the murders of TUPAC SHAKUR and BIGGIE SMALLS is set to be unravelled on screen by SYLVESTER STALLONE.

The ageing action film hero is down to write, direct and star in a film about their deaths and the alleged corruption at the heart of the Los Angeles Police Department that has lurked beneath the story.

The film, working title 'Rampart Scandal', will centre on an internal investigation of the LAPD that it is alleged turned up links off-duty officers had to the murders of the rap kings.

According to film industry magazine Variety, Stallone will play Detective Russell Poole, the figure key to exposing corruption within the force. It is Poole who believes Biggie and Tupac were killed as part of a gang-police-rap power triangle.

While Death Row mogul Suge Knight has been implicated in the deaths, it has been reported that Stallone has approached him to play himself in the picture.

Tupac was shot in September 1996 following a Mike Tyson fight in Las Vegas. Knight was driving his car at the time. Biggie was shot dead the following March in LA.
