Rapper 2PAC has beaten the challenge of MARIAH CAREY to stay on top of the UK singles chart.
In a close battle for the Number One spot, the rapper, who died in 1996, remains at the top of the charts with 'Ghetto Gospel'. Carey’s new single ’We Belong Together’ is the highest new entry at Number Two.
Elsewhere in the chart Rachel Stevens has a Top Ten hit with ’So Good’ and Kanye West’s comeback single ’Diamonds From Sierra Leone’ enters the chart at Number eight.

In the albums chart, Coldplay’s 'X&Y' has been knocked off the top by James Blunt’’s ’Back To Bedlam’.
