Four years after Tupac Shakur's death, 'Until The End Of Time' goes straight in at the top...
TUPAC SHAKUR has gone to the top of the album charts in the US, over four years after his death.
His latest posthumous album, 'Until The End Of Time', sold 426,800 copies across the country, almost 250,000 more than last week's chart topper, Shaggy's 'Hot Shot', according to www.billboard.com.
As previously reported on NME.COM, 'Until The End Of Time' covers the period from Shakur's release from prison in 1995 until his death in September 1996. All 20 tracks included are previously unreleased.
The release follows 2000's 'The Rose That Grew From Concrete, Volume I', an interpretation of his poetry. The previous posthumous album, 1999's 'Still I Rise', has been certified platinum in the US, while 1998's 'Greatest Hits' has sold over nine million copies.
