NOW! TOPS HALF MILLION MARK IN US

The latest US Now! chart hit compilation, 'Now! 6' is firmly lodged at the top of the US charts for a second week, selling a phenomenal 525,000 copies.

It stormed straight into Number One last week, knocking 2Pac's 'Until the End of Time' to second position and Shaggy's 'Hotshot' down to Number Three.

Reflecting its success on the other side of the Atlantic, the latest British version, 'Now! 48' tops the compilation chart in the UK, having sold an estimated 48,000 copies on its first day and securing the fastest sales in the 17-year history of the Now! album series in Britain.

Elsewhere in the US Billboard 200 this week, Aaron Carter is the highest climber with 'Aaron's Party (Come Get It)' which leaps from 21 to 15. After 18 weeks in the chart, Coldplay's 'Parachutes' drop one to 61 while flavour of the month Linkin Park rise to 28 from 34 with 'Hybrid Theory'.
