Led Zeppelin reunion: Jimmy Page hints at further dates
Guitarist says he might be up for more shows
Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page has hinted that he would be up for more reunion shows.
The band are set to perform a one-off reunion at the 02 Arena in London on December 10.
Page said: “At the moment, I’m told we’re doing one gig. That’s a bit unfortunate for all the people that would have liked to have seen us, but I can understand why some of the other members don’t want to be touring.”
Page also spoke out about the demand for tickets, saying: “I knew there would be a demand for tickets but I hadn’t expected that sort of overwhelming demand. It’s wonderful that people hold Zeppelin in that sort of regard.”
Speaking about getting together for the first time in years, the guitarist said: “We had the first rehearsal in May or June just to get together and see how we got on and whether it would be a goer, and straight away it was boom!”
He told The Mirror: “It’s amazing, daunting, harrowing, beautiful - and it’s a one-night stand. And I’ve learned that nothing is impossible.”
