Another US star wanted to call his record 'Graduation'

US R’n’B star Chris Brown has revealed that he originally wanted to call his latest album ‘Graduation’ – the same name as Kanye West’s latest release.

He explained that he changed the name of the album to ‘Exclusive’, because he wished to avoid conflict with West, although the move was against his management’s wishes.

“I came up with the 'Graduation' title seven months ago,” Brown said. “People were like, 'Kanye said that his album is called ‘Graduation’, and we can just negotiate.'

“I was like, 'Nah, you're not negotiating... I'll just let him call his album ‘Graduation’ and I'll just change my title. It's no big deal for me.”
