Singer wants Scarlett Johansson to play her

Courtney Love has said she wants to 'Half Nelson' actor Ryan Gosling to play her late husband Kurt Cobain in a film.

Love, who is executive producer on the £30 million movie 'Heavier Than Heaven', has also asked Scarlett Johansson to portray her, according to The Mirror.

The movie is based on Charles Cross's biography of Cobain.

A source said: "Kirsten Dunst was rumoured to be in the frame, but Courtney really admires Scarlett and has already sent the contract out for her to sign. Courtney even copied Scarlett's sleek blonde movie look when she was in London for the Fashion Rocks party last year.

"She wants the best actors to portray them - she will be on set all the time giving Scarlett and Ryan advice on what it was like being one part of the most notorious couples since Sid and Nancy. It will be explosive."

what about new actor Joe Anderson from "across the unverse" and "control"? throughout "universe" I totally thought he would be excellent for a Cobain BioPic.

Scarlett Johannsen asked by Courtney to play Courtney?

Scarlett Johansson is going to need a good make up job- she's gorgeous! she looks nothing like Courtney Love!
This film sounds like its going to be awful.

kurdt cobain should be played by a large, beautiful black american woman.

a ‘mirror’ version of kurdt just seems to obvious and tacky. hollywood and kurdt cobain just do not work. upset the fans, keep it real, sincere - i think this would do justice to a film about kurdt and his monkeys...

Scarlett and CLo are very good friends and phsycially in real life have alot in common as well as sharing i believe , a mutual dear friend , they also get along fanatstically and i am positive Courtney was approached by ScarJo to play HER not the other way around besides this is a Working Title film from what i understand ( Elizabeth, Fargo) and she( clo) has know producer Eric Fellner for over 20 years, the script is in production i havehear dthat David Benioff was paid 5million dollars for the screenplay and noones doing anything til it comes in for a first draft, but Clo and Fellner are very very close as is Clo and Scarjo, it's so cliched to call Clo unnatractive when shes , especially in person breathtakingly gorgeous , i saw her at Russell Brands Roxy show last Sunday and at Tarantinos "Resevoir Dogs" midnight screening at the New Beverly with Tarantino and they make a very very cute couple i might add, uber power from them both. Scarjo should be jumping up and down for joy if she gets that part , its no joke with WT they dont do joke shit films. Scarjo willhave to prove she's Oscar friendly. wich isnt yet proven since the best she's really been is in "matchpoint".m
