Thom Yorke and co return to live action with tiny shop show

Radiohead are to play a gig in London tonight (January 16).

The band will perform a “short set of 'In Rainbows' material” at the Rough Trade East shop on Brick Lane.

According to guitarist Jonny Greenwood on the band’s Dead Air Space site, the show is “very limited free entry, first come first served. Also, as it might be a little uncomfortable for anyone queuing early, they're planning a numbering system so people at the front of any queue can get snacks and toilet breaks in the store. Good bagels round there”.

Doors are set to open at 7pm (GMT), with the band expected to play at 8pm.

Greenwood added: “For those who can't get in - and it's pretty small in there - we'll have some screens and speakers outside, if we're allowed. I think we are. And we'll also webcast it.”

A link for the webcast will appear on Radiohead.com later today.

NME.COM will be bringing you full coverage from tonight's gig, including a live song-by-song blog straight from the shop. Head to NME.COM/blog from 7pm (GMT).
