Horrors man calls on fans to back new talent

Faris Rotter has expressed his admiration of Lightspeed Champion, AKA Dev Haynes, hoping that fans will get behind his new album.

[a]The Horrors[/b] frontman posted his support in an online blog.

In Myspace bulletin he declared that “musicians like him should be rewarded”, reacting to this week's NME, which features Hynes on the cover.

He pleaded for fans to buy the rising star's debut solo LP 'Falling Off The Lavender Bridge', or else cope with the “total creative wasteland”, adding that consumers where having to deal with “total shit being pushed into their face".

He ended by calling on everyone to help “support underground artists” as they cemented their place in the music industry.

Are you sure that Faris was reacting to the NME cover? May it be that they have been friends for a while and he is supporting a mate? Hmmmm...
