Graham Coxon reveals why Blur didn't reunite

Blur guitarist Graham Coxon has explained why the much-feted Blur reunion never occurred.

The band members had previously told NME.COM that they had a week in a studio booked for December, where they would record together as a four-piece for the first time since 2002.

However Coxon explained to NME.COM that when the band met up for a meal before the recording week, they didn’t actually discuss recording, so never followed it up.

"I think people thought, ‘Oh, it’s a bit too much, just jumping into a studio’," he said. "We met for a catch-up and it was great, but there was no real talk of recording. It doesn’t really bother me. I’ve got enough going on to feel happy and fulfilled."
