The Hollywood star plays a Bollywood princess
Devendra Banhart has recruited his real-life girlfriend Natalie Portman to star in the video for his new single 'Carmensita'.
The Hollywood actress portrays a princess who must be rescued from an evil king by a bearded prince, played by Banhart. In the end, Portman's character is reincarnated as an octopus.
The video spoofs Bollywood films and includes dancing, sword play, subtitles and special effects.

Banhart is currently playing a handful of live dates to support his latest album 'Smokey Rolls Down Thunder Canyon'. He is set to play the Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco on August 23.
