50 CENT AND JAY-Z SET FOR COLLABORATION
The rap titans head for the studio - and then they're going to head out on the road together...
The four-times platinum New York rapper, who is currently playing small club dates throughout the US to promote his album 'Get Rich or Die Tryin'', said he is excited to be joining forces with the Brooklyn based Jay-Z.
"It's going to be off the hook, that's when it really gets to be a tour when you start building sets and you start seeing things you don't see at the average club concert."
Even though 50 Cent is nearer the top of the US Billboard chart at the moment he said he will allow the more experienced rapper to headline the series of shows.
"Let Jay headline, I give him that pressure. He's got a string of records that have had their opportunity to have their moments. He can go on for a good 40 minutes with just his singles," he told MTV.
Jay-Z released a new version of 2002's 'The Blueprint' this month, 'The Blueprint 2: The Gift and The Curse', which features the best tracks from last year's album, as well as unreleased tracks.
Jay-Z has also said that his forthcoming collection of new material, 'The Black Album' , will be his last.
