The rapper moves into books

50 Cent to launch literary career

50 Cent has announced his intentions to move into publishing.

His imprint, G-Unit Books, will be a venture with MTV/Pocket Books who published his memoir ‘From Pieces To Weight’.

The company will produce offerings described as “street fiction” and will feature works by the members of 50’s rap crew G-Unit – Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo and Young Buck.

According to Reuters, G-Unit Books will launch in 2007 with a novella by Nikki Turner – author of ‘The Glamorous Life’.
