50 Cent is in talks to play a death row inmate in an independently-financed movie, shooting this July in Los Angeles.
50, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, will star alongside Danny Huston, John Ortiz and Kelli Garner in 'Spectacular Regret', which follows four Los Angeles residents as they struggle to overcome past events.
According to Variety, the rapper's character will reportedly be a 'cause celebre' due to his pending execution.
The movie will be directed by Joshua Leonard, an actor who starred in 'The Blair Witch Project'.
