50 Cent to sing jazz songs with Bette Midler?
'He's such a doll. I love him. He's gorgeous,' says Midler
50 Cent is on the verge of collaborating with Bette Midler, the veteran singer has confirmed.
Midler said she wants to sing jazz songs with the rapper, who she first met while doing environmental work in New York.
The 63-year-old singer described the unlikely collaboration as "little Jewish lady and the great big rapper".
She added: "He's such a doll. I love him. He's gorgeous. I was hoping we'd sing songs from the Depression, but he's so young that I don't think he knows any of them. I'm going to have to check things out and see what he feels like singing."
Midler added that she first approached 50 Cent to work with her on the New York Restoration Project, reports The Sun.
The two are both due to attend the Restoration Project's annual spring picnic in New York on May 19.
