50 Cent to star in modern-day 'Jekyll & Hyde' movie
Rapper will play lead role in flick
50 Cent has been tapped to play a lead role in a modern-day version of Robert Louis Stevenson's ‘The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde’.
The rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, will star alongside Forest Whitaker in the movie, which is about a doctor who concocts a potion that creates an evil alter ego, reports Variety.
It is not clear which role Jackson is attached to.
Jackson made headlines recently when a post on his website announced he had been cleared of any involvement in a house fire at his ex-girlfriend’s house in Long Island a year ago.
However, police working on the investigation say that no one has been ruled out in the fire, as the case is still open. Jackson is not actually listed as a suspect in the case.
