THE EXTENSIVE MEASURE OF DANCE
The 50,000 capacity Manchester show takes place August 3...
808 State are to headline a 50,000 capacity free show in their home town of MANCHESTER to coincide with the COMMONWEALTH GAMES.
The all-day event, which is being held across five stages on August 3, takes place at the Castlefield Arena.
Timed to coincide with the closing stages of the 2002 Commonwealth Games, 'G-Percussion' features free appearances from 808 State, Alpinestars and A Certain Ratio together with over 50 DJs including Mr Scruff, Dave Haslam, Greg Vickers, Rob Bright and James Holroyd.
The event started in 1996 as a response to the IRA bomb which wrecked Manchester city centre. More information can be found at www.gpercussion.co.uk.
