Caribou forced to cancel UK tour Caribou Tickets
Gigs scheduled for this week are off
Caribou have been forced to cancel their UK tour this month, due to "unforeseen circumstances”.
The Canadian indie outfit, primarily a solo project from musician Daniel Snaith, was due to perform tonight (February 18) in Glasgow, and were then due to play in Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Liverpool in the coming week.
Caribou’s management are planning to reschedule the dates as soon as possible.
The cancelled dates are:
Glasgow New Stereo (Feb 18)
Aberdeen Tunnels (19)
Edinburgh Cabaret Voltaire (20)
Liverpool Barfly (21)
Snaith has also been confirmed to play at the All Tomorrow’s Parties Vs. Pitchfork festival, to be held at Camber Sands between May 9-11.
The Shockwaves NME Awards 2008 are coming soon – and it’s time to have your say. Vote now by heading to NME.COM/awardsvote and you could win VIP tickets to the ceremony, which takes place in London on February 28.
